Before they started the project, they filed for the permits, explained the process and allowed us to choose the type and color of the shingles, gutters and soffits. They cleaned up at the end of every work day. When we thought they were done, they came back out and touched up the paint where it needed it and rehung the cable/phone lines and exterior lighting. We appreciate all they did and will definitely be calling them back for our next project.

Verified This is the 3rd time I have hired Good Life for work on my home, they always do an excellent job, arrive on time, do a good job of clean-up. I have had them repaint the exterior of my home and install 2 new front doors and new overhead lighting and fans throughout my home. I also had them replace carpeting with LVF and this time I had my bathrooms redone. There is a bit of a language barrier but there is always someone available to clear up problems. Their work ethic is exemplary and I strongly recommend them.

Verified Goodlife recently replaced our roof and we couldn't be happier. Verified We had signs of fungus (like a small flat mushroom) coming through a seam in our bay window that had been hidden by the blinds. I knew this wasn't good, as fungus means moisture and dead stuff (old wood). Thankfully this isn't a "M word" story (mold). But anyone would be concerned by a weird intrusion like this so I had Good Life come out and check it out. I had been dealing with real estate recently, and I was somewhat familiar with Good Life for home inspections so I gave them a shot at this repair. Project Manager Eugene arrived with one of the construction crew and they explained what they could do to assess the problem. We scheduled them to come out and pull off some drywall and do a moisture test. The next day they were able to confirm that water was getting into the wall from a part of the outside stucco and had caused extensive dry rot down to the studs. Obviously, this is where it sounds expensive. Eugene explained in detail what needed to be done to repair the damage and to prevent a future leak. He emailed me a detailed repair with a reasonable estimate, including an up front discussion on change orders that may need to be made. I approved the estimate online and felt confident that the guys knew what they were doing. Over the next week or so the crew from Good Life worked efficiently and professionally to remove the old stucco, wood and insulation and treat the fungus affected area which about 10 feet high by 8 feet wide on the exterior. Eugene called or updated me on the daily progress in-person and was very professional. The crew was Ukrainian and spoke some English along the way but Eugene and a couple others explained everything clearly. After a couple of detailed change orders the crew put the front of the house back together with fresh wood, insulation, stucco and a brick veneer that looked especially challenging. I was very impressed with the crew's versatility in how those guys were able make the house look the same down to the paint and the landscaping that was in front. Good Life did great work and made my house look good as new. They worked quickly and effectively and left a very clean result inside and outside. The cost was a good value for the amount of work I saw completed and the attention to detail. I would definitely call Good Life again for repairs, but hopefully we're done with anything at this level. Great job guys.

Verified I had a hot water pipe leak in the attic and caused extensive damage. I selected several companies on yelp for the repair project. I am so glad that I chose to work with Good life construction. Jason Khadzhi ( lead project manager) was very quick to respond and provided a very reasonable quote right away. His crew was punctual, efficient and completed the work beyond my expectations! Yaro ( the project manager) was there every day to make sure the work was done right. All the workers were very polite and respectful answering any questions I had. They were thorough, maintained a neat worksite. I can tell they take pride in the work they perform. We also found additional problem during the repair and since the company is very big and covers many service, I don't have to search for different company and good life construction was able to provide the service that I need. Jason always goes above and beyond. Jason and Good life construction will be our first call for any home needs and they will be our only referral to anyone looking for remodeling/repair services.

Everybody was so professional and polite started work early and left late. These guys are very good at what they do. I would like to thank the workers, the owner, and most of all Serge for their outstanding work! Serge is the first guy I met from Good Life Construction. I consider him the "face" of the company. He is kind and personable ... more like an old friend than a company rep. And he was fast and efficient at giving me a detailed estimate of my project. The price was reasonable, and I believed that Good Life Construction would do a good job, because they are the highest-rated contractor on Yelp. What I didn't know was how far they would exceed my expectations! The quality of work was A+, and they were able to complete it faster than other contractors, because they already have their own crew of painters, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, etc ... ready to work on any project at a moment's notice! I first began looking for a contracting company that would demolish and rebuild the partial brick facade in front of my mother's old house. It was built in 1967, and the brick was crumbling and cracked in many places. Unfortunately, I could only find a couple of companies that lay or repair brick anymore. Good Life Construction is one of those companies. And it was just my luck to find that their company is the highest-rated contracting company on Yelp. Their crew is highly skilled and hard-working. Dimitri and Pavel did a fabulous job laying the bricks! I miss Dimitri's sense of humor and Pavel singing while he worked. Mike, the project manager, was a responsible guy who paid close attention to every detail of the project. He found some serious dry rot in the rim joists behind the brick, and his crew repaired it with great diligence and care. Then, as for my mom's counters, Mike directed me to a place with a large inventory of granite. I was even able to find one that was a rare and beautiful green color! Mike's crew also fixed our pocket/sliding door in the service porch that was always getting stuck. They replaced it with a swinging door that looked even better! Then, when it came to painting the outside of the house, Paul blew my mind with the extra work and time he spent sanding down the numerous old posts in the patio! He did such an exquisite job of painting the house that you would have thought that he was doing it for his own mother. Paul is just about the kindest guy you'll ever meet ... like a younger version of Serge! If this sounds like I'm writing a review for a family member, it's just because Serge, Mike, Dimitri, Pavel, and Paul all make you feel like you're a part of their family. Good Life Construction could actually be called Good Family Construction because that is who they really are ... one big happy family! I trust them just like my family. So now, I'm having them work on my own house in Natomas!

Out of all the contractors that came to my home, these guys were clean, polite and they do really really good work! I needed some siding to be replaced and these knocked out a 2 day job in 1. The crew worked very hard and the finished project looks fantastic. They were a little higher in price than the other guys, but I think it all paid off very well. I needed the project done by a specific time and they managed to get me accommodated. I am truly happy with the work and will never call anyone else besides Good Life Construction for my home repair needs.

Repair Damage from Dry-rot, Water or Pests We had some damaged siding due to dry rot damage and some other wood members on our home. We contacted Good Life Construction for an estimate. They came out and proposed a cost effective solution to repair the siding. The job went really smoothly and they did a great job cleaning up after the project was completed. During the repairs the crew opened up some additional damaged framing, Alex came out and explained what it would take to take care of that damage. The additional price for repair of the frame was very fair and they got it completed right away. Very happy with the entire process.

This company was not the cheapest bid that we received, but I chose them because they were honest and upfront about all the costs. They also looked very clean and professional, compared to some of the other contractors that came out. The work they performed is amazing. We had terrible dry rot issues with our siding and trims. The crews arrived on time every day, were very kind and respectful to our property and to us. They cleaned up every day and painted all of the repaired areas to match my existing paint because are only planning to repaint perhaps next summer. We are very happy with the work and it was worth the money. You get what you pay for and Good Life Construction fulfilled every promise and request. Thanks to the entire team. We needed one of our upstairs bathroom windows replaced, reconstruction of our chimney and some drywall repairs/painting as well. The folks at Good Life Construction (Alex & team) were easy to schedule and provided a reasonable estimate for our repairs. The workers arrived on time everyday, kept me in the loop on their progress, welcomed any questions I had and cleaned up after themselves at the end of each work day. My wife and I are happy with the repairs and feel confident that our home is ready for next year’s winter/rainy season. We would recommend the folks at Good Life for home repairs. -Merrill
